Weight loss is never easy but there are a few tricks and tips that you can follow to help sustain your motivation, distract your cravings and lose that difficult to budge weight that you thought would never shift

Exercise with Friends

Exercise is integral to most weight loss plans but it is the part of the plan that most people find the most difficult. If exercise is not a normal part of your daily routine then finding the time and motivation to learn everything there is to know about how to exercise properly and then putting it into practice is hard 

Working out or exercising with friends is one of the best things that you can do when it comes to starting a new exercise program. Not only can you learn and have fun at the same time, but having someone to exercise with can turn a chore into something that you actually look forward to. Just don’t go to the pub or café after you exercise together!

Turn Food into A Competition with Yourself or Other People

Calorie counting or planning healthy meals can be tedious and boring but keeping track of how much you eat is important. Try turning your meals into games where you compete with friends, family or fellow dieters to see how creative you can be within a certain calorie limit or even throw a dieters dinner party to keep meal times fun and interesting, with just that little element of competition!

It is all to easy to focus on your target and become disheartened as you see how far you have to go when really you probably have already made a fantastic amount of progress with your exercise, weight loss or healthy eating goals.

Keeping track of your progress is not only a great way of reminding yourself how far you have come but also you will have something to look back on when you are feeling low (or just want a good laugh!)

Keeping a blog is a good way of communicating your progress with the outside world and there is a whole community of bloggers out there to provide support and advice. One of the biggest blog trends at the moment is people who love to run or do sport as well as cook great food at the same time. Give it a try and a whole new world of dieting and fitness may open up to you.
